The Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) is now live. All students are required to take the NGN; an exam that now ranges between 85-150 question items, including case study analysis and new types of questions. This all adds to the potential difficulty a student may find when preparing for the NCLEX.
As the author of CliffsNotes NCLEX-RN and educator for a private tutoring/educational company; Nursology, I have a unique purview into the difficulties students face when approaching these difficult questions. I always tell my students that it is impossible to memorize everything about everything; but one must be able to approach a question with critical thinking, nursing knowledge, and the ability to read careful for attention to detail.
I bring these mentalities to my consultancy when reviewing curriculum, examinations for NCLEX, and overall prep work. My work with universities, professors, and thousands of students has been with countless successes. There is nothing quite as rewarding as bringing a new nurse into the fold to join an amazing career.
